Corporate Tax Accountant needed for the Sales Use tax team in Norwalk, CT

Our client, a Norwalk based international firm is looking to add 1 person to there Corporate Tax team. The perfect applicant will have 2 yrs of corporate tax background. Prior background processing Sales Use tax filings is a strong plus. This role will incorporate significant account reconciliations as you will need to be proficient with reconciling multiple ledgers to bring together the needed documentation to process Sales Use tax returns. The reconciliations are completed within Ms excel. Additionally, the perfect applicant will have strong writing skills. With direction from the manager, you will assist in writing letters addressing tax issues to internal stake holders. The tax department is in the process of being centralized in the Norwalk corporate headquarters, there is strong possibility of this role going temporary to full time. If you have prior background processing Corporate Sales Use tax returns and you are looking to join an international company that is in growth mode, this could be the opportunity for you.- 2yrs processing Corporate Tax returns and background with Sales Use filings is a strong plus.
